The media also improves flow through the filter meaning you can use lower energy pumps and save some money.
The K1 Micro Bead filter is specifically designed to house the good bacteria in your filter when you are cleaning. There is a compartment to hold your media so only dead bacteria and waste debris will be discharged. This results in no Ammonia and Nitrite spikes after maintenance.
