The air filter for the Hakko 25LP and Hakko 40LP is located on the side of the body underneath the plastic cover. The air filter for the Hakko 40L through Hakko 120L is located at the top of the air pump underneath the plastic lid. The air filter should be cleaned every few months to maintain good air flow to the pump. You may wash the filter in tap water multiple times before it needs to be replaced.
